Extreme Weather Response

Elkland is set up to provide assistance in extreme weather conditions such as checking on remote areas with significant snowfall has taken place, assist fire departments with accessing remote camps, or dwellings during an emergency event. Elkland can also provide assistance at large scale vehicle accidents on Interstate 80 that have limited or no access by ambulances or rescue trucks. Elkland also supplies support to area fire departments with pumping basements during flooding events, or assisting people to shelters during these extreme weather emergencies.
