Wildland/Forest Fire Response

Elkland provides assistance to fire departments (Elk and surrounding Counties), PA DCNR, and PA Game Commission with wildland/forest fires and prescribed burns. Elkland members have S-130 and S-190 certifications and provide our own equipment for wildland fire suppression. We are not a main response agency; however we will assist other agencies when needed.
